The idea is to get a genetic code
from NCBI Taxonomy Homepage,
or UNSW Embryology- NCBI-The Genetic Codes.
All the codes from these pages can be extracted with makegcs.awk.
An example of a single code is test.
Remove the stuff before the " = ".
Then use transposetxt.awk.
Next, shift the nucleotides to lower case and substitute "u" for "t".
Replace the fourth column (the starts) with a space.
Then flesh out the code with ambiguity codes.
Use blather2.awk to do so.
It is far from perfect.
Maybe we can do a Ruby version.
We started with blather.rb,
but that has a long way to go.
