The German Case System

German speakers use a system of four cases. In German 1A we cover the first two.

• Nominative (Subjects) der, kein.
• Accusative (direct objects) den, keinen
• Dative (indirect objects) dem
• Genative (posesive - of my) meiner.

Ich wohne in einer Wohnung in SF.
Ich wohne in einem Hause in Berkeley.
Ich habe einen guten Freund.
Ich habe eine gute Freundin.
Meine beste Freundin wohnt in Frankfort.
Mein bester Freund wohn in Montreal.
Das Hause meiner Mutter ist alt.
